After learning about the topography of this region, we are going to look at the climate and vegetation of this region.The climate of the Interior Plains is a continental climate. This means the temperature of this region is affected by this region's location in the heart or center of the continent.

This is Australia. This continent is really small, it only contains Australia and New Zealand. I think Australia is very lucky, because the continent uses it's name.

There are 7 continents in the map. They are North America,South America,Africa,Europe,Asia,Australia and Antarctica. Asia seems to be the largest and the Australia is the smallest. We are living in the north of equator.

3. Can you list some continents in the world? Write as many as you can find.Since this region is in the center of the continent, it is far from the ocean. The ocean helps to keep a moderate climate. Without it, this region has a climate of extremes. It has long, hot summers and cold winters.

7 continents in the world. We are learning about Canada, Interior plains. But we must now the different kind of region in the world. Like deserts,plains, prairies... And each region has its own climate. In Interior plains also have 3 levels of land,it is very complicated. so if we learn more about world, we will understand better.
